Monthly Round-up #3

Hey Hoomans,

Whaaa its April already, i mean where is time running , slow down. I hope you had a Happy Easter and did not get pranked yesterday.

It time for Monthly book round-ups and book recommendations. I read a total of nine books this month. I will recommend those that i love as usual.

1.  I AM WALTZ by Matthew D. Dho

Top recommended book of the month  which i already reviewed. Robots with conciousness, media controlled by big bad robot cooperation(IRIS) with a striking  similarity to *coughs* FOX NEWS. Recommended for fans of Ready player one. Matrix and all things futuristic. You can read my review in my last post

2. THE WITCH STONE by Jasmine Hong

LGBTQ+ Novel about about Calvin Chung a witch who is suddenly saddled with the task of finding the lord of the city because his ex brought trouble to his front door. An adventurous book with a good amount of representation. I believe the series would get better as it gets going. Already reviewed this one so check it out here

3. OUR LEGENDARY LADIES: HARRIET TUBMAN by Megan Callea

Short sweet books for kids to be inspired recommended ages 0-5. This issue is about Harriet Tubman and her selfless quest to free people from slavery.Children of the next generation would grow up with strong leading ladies and learn that anything is possible. Amazon link right here: Our legendary ladies: Harriet Tubman

4. HERDING CATS: A SARAH SCRIBBLES COLLECTION by Sarah Andersen

The queen of all that i s relatable. Sarah scribbles new book is according to the descritopion attempting to control that which is Inherently unconrollable. hence the title herding cats. she also talks about what its like being an aristist in the second part of the book. I love Sarah’s comics i follow her on every social media possible,  they are relatable and they just make me happy. The book is out now so grab your copy here’s an amazon link:  Herding Cats

5. THE RULES OF SUPERVILLAINY by C. T Phipps

I listened to the audio book narrated by Jeffrey Kafer. Gary Karkofsky is a retired bank teller turned villain when he received the cloak of a dead super hero the Night walker. Instead of using cloaks power for good like it  was intended for he aims to be the most feared supervillain of all time Merciless(tm).  This book is hilarious,  Jeffrey voice wove each scenario perfectly, the characters were funny especially the henchmen. The exchange between cloak(yes the cloak talks) and Merciless are laugh out loud funny, cloak is the embodiment of sarcasm. If you are looking for a good laugh i recommend this messed up supervillain Merciless
