Archie, a snarky genderqueer artist, is tired of people not understanding gender neutral pronouns. Tristan, a cisgender dude, is looking for an easy way to introduce gender neutral pronouns to his increasingly diverse workplace. The longtime best friends team up in this short and fun comic guide that explains what pronouns are, why they matter, and how to use them. They also include what to do if you make a mistake, and some tips-and-tricks for those who identify outside of the binary to keep themselves safe in this binary-centric world. A quick and easy resource for people who use they/them pronouns, and people who want to learn more.
This comic explains the basic use of gender neutral pronouns they/them, ze/hir . Its really useful if you meet people that use this pronouns and why they use it. I think it all boils down to respecting a people, i like how it explains that at the beginning you will mess up when trying to use the pronouns but that’s okay . The book also gives an insight on how non-binary people feel when you misgender them.
The art is perfect for this sort of explanatory-type comic focuses more on the message that’s being passed. It covers the basics you need to know and if you are interested in knowing more you can always research. I think its essential to have this book at work and school so that people know how to start using third person pronouns and get comfortable with it.
