I have got books, i have got books….different Tbr lists, tbr lists ( A little parody of Area codes by Ludacris ft Natedog).
Once upon a time i thought Good reads was enough for me to organize my books, that way i would be able to keep tabs on all the books i want to read and finish them all. Looking back i can say…..it was only just a dream!! I have now increased my list by 2000% and i have new places for ”stalking new books”.
I really don’t know when this got out of hand, it just happened.
Now i am over here sinking under a pile on TBR lists i don’t know if i will ever finish in this lifetime.
One day i read a post on Ebook friendly and i discovered Scribd.
THE END, Okay not really. But what happened was i discovered Scribd gave me books, magazines, audio books and sheet music (well i don’t need that one yet) for the whooping price of $8.99 per month. Of course i was like SIGN ME THE FUCK UP
I tried out the thirty-days free trial and i was hooked, i ended up getting a one year subscription. So in true book reader fashion i then proceeded add as many books as possible to my TBR list and its still growing. Fun fact i used to pronounce it as scri-beed, pray for me y’all.
Yo! My pinterest book board is out of control. I don’t know when this started but dear lordt it’s too much. Now sometimes my other TBR lists intersect with this one, so when i read a book on one of them its crossing out across all boards. And i till keep adding
Can’t stop won’t stop
From ”Oooh that looks good” to one click buys to kindle Unlimited my kindle TBR list has grown wings and has turned into Pegasus about to take off ( hey Pegasus in transit). I feel like i need a special team to take care of this list. I know who i will call.
You know what got me with this one..its the super points, i mean a reward scheme for when i buy books hell yeah!! I joined the V.I.P Kobo super points last year and i got hooked. Just yesterday i bought five books received a free book and as at writing this i was just browsing for a new tittle. I know, I know i need help. I love that i can make quotes from the book you are reading with a nice background. I am currently reading a Vegan Cookbook for beginners on Kobo can’t wait to try out some recipes.
Added bonus on the app is that it has awards and stats under reading activity so you can track your reading habits.
I have a lot of audio books i need to listen to. I currently have 52 ( well soon to be 55 after this post) and i have finished 14. Well i will be listening to more books so fingers crossed i can at least finish half of this list this year.
This also has awards, you unlock badges and listening levels as you listen to books. Right now i am on the Pro level and i 111 hours to unlock the scholar level (phew wish me luck)
So i guess you guys have seen how much my TBR lists are out of control, i clearly need help. But you know what, its a good thing to have. Since i have different books on all platforms, i always have something to read and as a back up to these apps i also carry a book just in case my battery decides to go bye bye.
How many reading apps do you have, and do you have different books on them. Let me know in the comments section what reading apps you use?
